To view your Exchange (Office 365) account on your device or computer, you may need to take additional actions depending on the email program and device you use. Use the information below if one of these situations applies to you.

  • Older devices may not be able to support upgraded versions of the iOS or the latest version of Outlook. These devices will no longer be able to access Northwestern email.

  • Work with your local IT group to install Outlook on your computer. Some schools and departments may support an alternative to Outlook in certain situations.
  • Or use the Outlook Web App (OWA) at https://office365mail.northwestern.edu

Outlook for Windows 2013/2010

Action

  • You must use Outlook 2016. Please work with your departmental IT support team to upgrade to Outlook 2016 or higher. In some cases you may need to upgrade your computer's operating system.
