Creating a quick reset password

  1. Check the checkbox to the left of the account whose password you want to reset
  2. In the section quick password reset section (lower left, middle section), enter a new password manually or have the system auto-generate one for you by clicking the blue exclamation (!) circle. Important: Jot down your new password. Using quick reset eliminates the option to email the new password to any recipients and will not display the new password anywhere in the system.
  3. Click Reset.

Changing the display name

The only account option you cannot manage through Cayosoft is the display name. To change the display name, send an email message to consultant@northwestern.edu and a system administrator will make the change for you.

Signing out

  1. At the upper right of your window, locate your NetID beneath the Person icon
  2. Click the Person icon then click Sign Out.
