Finding the team an agent belongs to in FootPrints

In order to quickly find the team an agent is in, you can use the Check Availability function in Footprints. Note that if the agent is listed in multiple teams, the Check Availability function will only show you the first team they are in, alphabetically.

  1. Create a new issue in FootPrints.
  2. Open the Assignees and Notifications section or tab.
  3. To the right of the Assignees box, click Check Availability. A new window will open.
  4. Use CTRL+F, or Command+F on a Mac, to search for the agent's name.
  5. Check the box to the left of the agent's name.
  6. Scroll to the bottom of the window, then click Go.
  7. The Assignees box will be populated with the first team, alphabetically, that the individual is in, with the agent assigned below.
At this point, you can submit the ticket to assign it to this user, or close the ticket if you were only using these steps to find the user's team.
