Managing and accessing source code control using GitHub

Northwestern IT has a GitHub account that allows developers to version control code based on teams within a repository.

Gaining access to Northwestern IT Administrative Systems GitHub is a two-step process:
  1. Create your personal GitHub account at github.com using your northwestern.edu email address.
  2. Complete the GitHub Request Access form at northwestern-github.apigee.io/request-access.
Once you are granted access, log in at github.com/NIT-Administrative-Systems

If someone on your team has left the University or your department, complete the Disable GitHub Access form at northwestern-github.apigee.io/disable-access to remove them.

For general information on using GitHub, see help.github.com.
