Name appearing incorrectly on a listserv

The name which appears when you send messages to a Listserv is determined by your display name entered in the LISTSERV system. This display name is set when you or someone else subscribes you to a listserv. Your display name on one listserv affects your display name for all listservs, so you can modify your display name by taking the following steps:

  1. Access the Listserv Web Interface at https://listserv.it.northwestern.edu .
  2. In the top right corner, click Log In, then log in with your official Northwestern email address and NetID password.
  3. Click Subscriber's Corner in the top left corner.
  4. To the right of the listserv name, click Settings.
  5. In the Name box, update your name.
  6. At the bottom of the page, click Update Options.
You may need to repeat steps 3 through 6 if you are subscribed to multiple listservs; if your name is incorrect on one, it will affect the others.
