Resolving "An error occurred while processing your request" error when logging into Northwestern Box
When logging into Northwestern Box from a web browser or Box Sync, you may receive an "error occurred while processing your request" message. This is a known issue that has the following workaround.
- Right-click inside the browser window and select Reload Page, Reload, or Refresh depending on your web browser. You may need to reload the browser as many as four times.
- If this does not resolve your issue, clear the cookies and cache for your browser.
- If you still cannot access Box after clearing your cookies and cache, contact the IT Support Center at 847-491-4357 (1-HELP) or consultant@northwestern.edu.
