OneDrive: Resolving "Duplicate File" issue post-Migration
This article covers how to self-resolve the Duplicate Files issue that affected some Northwestern Box users.
- Visit onedrive.northwestern.edu via your web browser and login using your credentials. This will display the "My Files" view
- Open another web browser window (typically Ctrl+N or CMD+N) and visit onedrive.northwestern.edu on this new window. This will display another "My Files" view
- Click on the folder "_FromNUBox"
- Re-arrange these two browser windows so they are side-by-side
- You may now see duplicate content
- Any Duplicate files and/or folders under the My Files may be deleted
