Alternatively, you can attempt to log in by using <NETID>@ads.northwestern.edu for the email address if unsuccessful after logging into https://onedrive.northwestern.edu

It looks like ...@northwestern.edu is used with more than one account. Which account do you want to use?

There are legacy OneNote users that configured a Microsoft Live account using their Northwestern email address. If you are prompted with the message "It looks like ...@northwestern.edu is used with more than one account. Which account do you want to use?" please select "Work or school account" and log in with your Northwestern credentials.
