Box - Quota Error Messages

To manage data migration from Box to OneDrive, the university is implementing a quota in Box. This 5TB quota limit will be applied to nearly all users with the exception being a few ‘high volume’ users the Box Transition project team is actively working with to migrate data from Box. Once implemented, Box users will receive an error/notification when performing an action with a Box document that result in a user’s overall Box data amount to exceed 5 TB. This KB article outlines these Box generated system messages.

Actions / Questions

In all scenarios, users will need to reduce their overall Box usage amount to account for the file action they are performing should the user want to store the file in Box.  Alternatively, users can consider using OneDrive to store their files.
