Fixing a blank window when connecting to GlobalProtect VPN on Windows

Clicking Connect in GlobalProtect should prompt you with the Northwestern Online Passport. If instead you get a blank white window, you need to reset the security settings within Internet Explorer.

  1. In the upper right corner of Internet Explorer, click the tools icon (Internet Explorer tools icon) > Internet Options.

  2. Select the Security tab.
  3. At the bottom click Reset all zones to default level, then click Apply, then OK.

  4. Connect to GlobalProtect.
