Setting up Cisco Jabber for iOS (iPhone or iPad)
Jabber simplifies communication and enhances productivity by unifying presence, instant messaging, video, voice messaging, desktop sharing, and conferencing capabilities into a secure easy-to-use app.
Use the instructions below to log in to Jabber on your iOS device. If you want to use Jabber on an iPad, send an email message to email@example.com asking that your Jabber account be given tablet access.

Log in to Jabber
- When you open Jabber for the first time, you will see a blank prompt. You may also see this screen when the app is updated, or if you reset the Jabber app. Enter your full @northwestern.edu email address, then click Continue. If you have a @kellogg.northwestern.edu or @law.northwestern.edu email address, remove the kellogg or law subdomain from the address and enter firstname.lastname@example.org instead.
- When prompted for a username and password, enter your NetID and NetID password, then click Login.
